REM Engineering Services was established in the late 1990s to meet the changing needs of today s advanced high-tech energy engineering sectors. The company strategically positioned the home office in close proximity to the Department of Energy s National Energy & Technology Center in Morgantown, W.V. Since its inception, REM Engineering Services has earned more than 20 direct-award contracts from the DOE/NETL and a major subcontract for R&D support services. The company has steadily increased in both size and scope since obtaining the SBA 8(a) certification in 2000. The growth is attributed to the quality of work performed for the company s clients.
