Opportunities Industrialization Center of Washington, established in 1971, is a nonprofit organization providing community services through federal, state and local agencies. Formerly known as Yakima Valley Opportunities Industrialization Center, the organization provides education and employment support services. It operates two distinct employment and training programs through the Workforce Investment Act. It also works with employers to upgrade participants occupational skills.
