Who is Mad Dog Remodeling Mad Dog is Mike Thompson, owner and founder of the business. Mike has been doing construction and remodeling work since he was a young boy, working along side his father who was also in the business. With well over 25 years of experience, Mike finally decided ( with a lot of encouragement from his wife Kathleen ) to start his own company. Wanting to keep it a small family business, Mike and Kathleen decided to incorporate their dog, a miniature dachshund, into the picture by using him as their logo. By using Mike's nickname and pairing that with a wiener dog logo, they found themselves a winning combination! Mad Dog Remodeling Inc was born in April of 1996.
