Brown Dog Market is a Family run business. When trying to name our new venture our collective agreement was to give a friendly nod to a great companion and friend we lost this year, Charlie. He was a huge, clumsy and adorable chocolate lab. Charlie lives on in the logo of Brown Dog Market. When we started Brown Dog Market, it was important to us that we conduct our business in a way that was as responsible to the community that we live in as possible. Recent times have seen a struggling economy and these are not times when people are cavalier about their money.
