Founded in 1977, Dement Construction Company offers construction services for highways and bridges. It offers heavy construction, asphalt paving and grading services throughout the Southeast. The company serves clients, such as the Department of Transportation, Federal Highway Administration, city and county government agencies, and public and private entities. Dement Construction Company maintains an asphalt and grading division and maintenance shop. It is a member of the American Road & Transportation Builders Association, National Asphalt Paving Association and Tennessee Road Builders Association. The company employs foremen, crane operators, carpenters, laborers, mechanics and engineers for projects throughout the region.
