Youth & Family Services Inc. is one of the largest youth development programs in western South Dakota. Operational since 1965, the organization has been serving approximately 3,000 to 5,000 children and their families. Its programs encompass education, meals and snacks, health advocacy and support, counseling services, fatherhood and parent enrichment education as well as prevention programs. Youth & Family Services Inc. offers programs to fulfill the needs of underprivileged youth. Additionally, its counseling center specializes in a variety of therapeutic approaches including, play, art and sand therapy, and abuse and trauma coping techniques.
