Our company was founded by Mr. J. Frank Blakely in 1931. Prior to the Great Depression, Mr. Blakely had opened a branch of Huntington and Guerry Electrical Contractor in the Spartanburg area. As the nation's economy rebounded, Mr. Blakely decided to open his own electrical business. Under his leadership, the business prospered, and upon his death, in 1945, Mr. E. L. "Joe" Hannah took over the company. Mr. Hannah was a Georgia Tech graduate, who had been working for Westinghouse. With his guidance, Blakely served the growing textile industry in the Upstate. In 1968, Mr. Hannah sold the business to Mr. Billy G. Watson. M
