The comprehensive inpatient rehabilitation program helps you gain your independence after a debilitating injury or illness, such as a stroke, head injury, Parkinson's disease, and others. Your doctor may recommend short-term therapy in a Comprehensive Rehabilitation Unit before you are able to return to your home. The Comprehensive Rehabilitation Unit stay is a separate stay covered by Medicare and most insurance companies.
