Our deep tissue massage in Las Vegas, NV is used to break up scar tissue and break down knots that can disrupt circulation and cause pain, limited range of motion, and inflammation. At the beginning of the massage, we use light pressure in order to warm up the muscles then we apply specific techniques such as stripping and friction. Stripping is when we use deep, clinging pressure along the length of the muscle fibers using our elbows, forearms, knuckles, and thumbs. Friction is when we apply pressure across the grain of a muscle to release adhesions and realign tissue fibers.
