Susan K. Tomita has practiced law since 1979. She received her B.A. at Stanford University and her J.D. at the University of Santa Clara Law School where she graduated Magna Cum Laude, and is admitted to practice in New Mexico and California. Ms. Tomita is a former Chairperson of the Elder Law Section of the New Mexico State Bar Association; has served on the Board of Directors of the Alzheimers' Association and Friends in Time (serving persons with multiple sclerosis and Lou Gerhig's disease); has served on the N.M. State Bar Association's Committee on the Delivery of Legal Services to Persons with Disabilities; and is a member of the Special Needs Alliance, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, and the New Mexico Estate Planning Counci
