Pennichuck East Utility serves over 15 communities, most of which are located in Southern and Central New Hampshire. The company is engaged primarily in the collection, storage, treatment and distribution of potable water. It a subsidiary of Pennichuck Corporation, a holding company with five wholly owned operating subsidiaries. The corporation is comprised of three private water utilities, including Pennichuck Water Works, Pittsfield Aqueduct Company and Pennichuck East Utility, which are regulated by the New Hampshire Public Utilities Commission, and two non-regulated companies, Pennichuck Water Service Company and The Southwood Corporation.
