Dr. Peters is a board~certified ophthalmologist with over 20 years experience. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and serves as a regional representative for its State Affairs division. He also serves on the Executive Committee for the Nebraska Academy of Eye Physicians and Surgeons, and is an adjunct clinical professor for the Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center.He completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, and a cornea fellowship at the University of Florida.
