Through its public utility subsidiaries, the firm provides electric service, including generation, transmission and distribution. It delivers electricity to more than 5 million customers in 11 states of the United States. The firm owns one of the largest electricity transmission systems in the country. States served include Arkansas, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Ohio, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia and West Virginia.
