Tallahatchie Valley Electric Power Association (TVEPA) is an electric cooperative that serves more than 26,000 residential, commercial and industrial customers in nine north Mississippi counties. As a nonprofit distributor of electricity that is generated by the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA), TVEPA conducts business for the benefit of its member-owners. As a result, the company s rates are among the lowest in the Southeast United States and in the nation.
