Established in 1980, Mothers Against Drunk Driving is a nonprofit organization in the United States working to protect families from drunk driving and underage drinking. It focuses on protecting the country's youth from the dangers of underage drinking and supports drunk driving victims and survivors. Mothers Against Drunk Driving works in all 50 states of the U.S., Puerto Rico and Guam. The organization has positive and long-standing relationships with the government, the law enforcement community, the judiciary and others committed to the safety of the communities.
