Sioux Valley Energy is a customer-owned utility. It members receive electric service at the lowest possible cost, and they have a voice in how the cooperative is operated. Sioux Valley Energy provides electric service and access to a wide range of other services to approximately 20,000 homes, farms, businesses and industries within a seven-county service area of eastern South Dakota and southwestern Minnesota. Through its wholly-owned subsidiary Sioux Valley Wireless, the cooperative offers high-speed wireless Internet access, networking services and wireless cable television programming. Sioux Valley Energy is part of one of the United States largest power supply networks, Touchstone Energy Cooperative. Sioux Valley Energy is based in Pipestone, Minn.
