Vafiades, Brountas & Kominsky, LLP - Attorneys at Law. In 1957, Lewis V. Vafiades and his cousin, Nicholas P. Brountas, joined forces and opened a law firm in their native Bangor, Maine. Their goal was to provide high quality legal services to individuals and businesses throughout Maine. They practiced law together as an association from 1957 to 1972. The law firm of Vafiades, Brountas & Kominsky, LLP was formed in 1971.The respect and recognition earned from the days when Lew Vafiades and Nick Brountas founded our firm to the present have allowed us to create long-term client relationships.
