The Division of Vocational Rehabilitation provides employment services for individuals with developmental disabilities who face a substantial barrier to employment. It offers training and technical assistance to employers regarding disability employment issues. The division is governed by the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development, which is a state agency that works to provide job services. The department also offers training and employment assistance solutions. It administers the Summer Youth Employment Program, which includes paid work experiences, as well as tutoring, mentoring, occupational skills training, academic, supportive, guidance and counseling services.
