Mountain Parks Electric is a nonprofit energy provider based in Granby, Colo. The organization is a dynamic cooperative dedicated to its members and communities. All profits are invested in MPEI's electric plant or returned to consumers. Mountain Parks Electric reads 17,000 meters and maintains 1,700 miles of line. The organization is united with more than 600 other national cooperatives under the Touchstone Energy partnership. It enhances community development through policies, contributions and participation in local events. Mountain Parks Electric Mountain also offers a variety of products to enrich the lives of members, including electric fireplaces, grills, generators, holiday lights, surge protectors, water heaters and flashlights.
