With a location in Phoenix, Southwest Regional Council of Carpenters represents more than 65,000 union carpenters throughout the United States. The organization operates over 10 training centers that provide skills training sessions for apprentices and journeymen. It offer classes in the fields of welding, concrete forms, interior systems, framing, solid surface, door hardware, forklift operation, scaffold erection, and blueprint reading and layout. The organization works with union signatory employers, as well as spends more than $28 million each year to provide training programs for its members.
