Larry Hurd 1976 - B.A. in English from Brigham Young University 1980 - M.B.A. from the Schulich School of Business at York University 1980 - LL.B. from Osgoode Hall Law School at York University 1981 - M.A. in Canadian Studies from Carleton University 1990 - CFP - Certified Financial Planner 2011 - LL.M. in Constitutional Law from Osgoode Hall Law School 2017 - GDLD - Graduate Diploma in Legislative Drafting - Athabasca University 1982 - opened his own law firm upon being admitted to the Law Society of Alberta. In addition to being a lawyer, Larry Hurd was also a mortgage broker from 2003-2010 and a life insurance agent from 2009-2013. He is the father of 3 children and 3 grandsons.
