Marathon County Court, located in Wausau, Wis., is responsible for the admittance and trial of all court cases in Marathon County, Wis. The court is in charge of all garnishments, evictions, liens, state income tax liens, warrants, civil judgments, writs and mediations. It is also in charge of collecting filing fees, fines, forfeitures, court costs, guardian ad litem fees and custody study fees. The court gives oaths to deputy sheriffs, court commissioners and condemnation commissioners. It is also responsible for all jury management for the county. Additionally, it provides court interpreters and support staff for all the courts under its jurisdiction.
