Physicians are prone to write a prescription too quickly; and the pharmaceutical industry cynically promotes the idea that happiness and good sleep comes from a pill. People have reserves of strength they often hide from themselves; the most important thing I do, perhaps, is to help my patients discover that strength. My practice reflects holistic sensitivities, recognizing not only the value of complimentary therapies such as acupuncture, yoga, meditation, bodywork, dancing, & supplements, but also the value of acknowledging the role of spirituality in one's experience.
