Hughes General Contractors has built more than 130 educational facilities in Utah. The company started out building homes. In the early 60s, the company moved into school construction, which has continued to the present. The company s list of other significant projects includes Park City Intermodal Facility, Dixie Convention Center & Wildlife Museum and Vernal Fieldhouse of Natural History. Hughes also has an earthwork division, established in the early 80s, giving its customers the added advantage of cost savings with this self-perform option.
