Established in 1995, the Center for Family Development is a nonprofit organization that provides a variety of programs and services for individuals and families. Located in Shelbyville, Tenn. the organization supports the Comenzando Bien program, which is a preconception and prenatal educational program for Latino women. It provides case management and support services, as well as organizes recreational activities. The organization offers therapeutic services for struggling families. In addition, the Center for Family Development supports the Relative Caregiver Program, which provides and coordinates services for children and relative caregivers.
