All our experience contributes to our expertise in assisting with any type of foundation or earth retention or earth strengthening problem, or slab problem -- whether assisting to solve an existing problem with a foundation or wall or slab or developing new construction in problematic situations.Richard Burd formed Burd Contracting in 1965 in Vermillion, South Dakota, with remodeling and concrete construction projects. In 1968, Burd Contracting built its first home. Growing success lead to a move to Sioux Falls, South Dakota. We continued to build homes and do flat concrete work until 1976 when we added a full set of aluminum forms for poured concrete foundation
