At Speakeasy Therapy Services, LLC, our orofacial myology program is designed to assess and address the underlying causes of orofacial myofunctional disorders through evidence-based interventions and therapeutic techniques. Our certified orofacial myofunctional therapists (COMTs) collaborate closely with clients and their families to develop individualized treatment plans that target specific muscle patterns, promote proper oral posture, and eliminate harmful oral habits. Treatment may include exercises to strengthen or retrain orofacial muscles, myofunctional therapy techniques to correct swallowing patterns, oral motor exercises to improve speech articulation, and behavior modification strategies to address harmful habits.
