Founded in 1899, The Maine Children's Home is a multifaceted organization that provides a teen-parent school program for pregnant and parenting teens. It operates The Children's Place, which is an early child care and educational facility. The organization also operates outpatient mental health counseling centers. The Maine Children's Home offers community education, adoption, Christmas and summer camp scholarship programs.
