Founded in 1972, the Middlesex Corporation is a subsidiary of The Middlesex Companies. The company, along with its sister organization, Asphalt Production Manufacturing Company, covers all aspects of the construction business, from producing and installing bituminous concrete, to constructing marine, rail and heavy civil construction projects. The company has special expertise in site development and bridge construction projects. Middlesex clients include a wide range of federal agencies, state agencies and municipalities and a variety of private industry clients, including Verizon, Raytheon and 3M. The Middlesex Corporation maintains its corporate headquarters in Littleton, Mass., and has additional operations in Berlin, Conn., and Orlando, Fla.
