About
Dr. Janice E. Posey is the owner of Veterinary Holistic Healing, LLC. She graduated from Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1990. She studied veterinary acupuncture and is certified from the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society in 1996 and 1997. She has studied Chinese herbal medicine and food therapy at the Chi Institute in Gainesville, Florida with Dr. Huisheng Xie (DVM), a 3rd generation Chinese herbalist. The primary focus at the practice is Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine using acupuncture, herbal medicine, food therapy and supplements as needed. Western medicine is integrated as necessary, e.g. diagnostics such as bloodwork and x-rays, dental prophylaxis and surgery (spay, neuter, etc.
