Established in 1950, Riverbend Center provides a variety of mental health, substance abuse and psychiatric services to citizens of northwest Alabama. It is a locally operated, public nonprofit facility serving more than 7,500 clients every year throughout Colbert, Franklin and Lauderdale countries in Alabama. It provides an array of professional medical and rehabilitative services for the diagnosis and treatment of mental illnesses, substance abuse and emotional conditions.
