The firm has specialized in institutional work such as libraries, health care facilities, recreational buildings, seniors' housing and galleries. As the awards list shows, we are best known for our library work, having completed some thirty+ library projects throughout Ontario. Many of these projects have involved the restoration and renovation of historic Carnegie library buildings from the early 20th Century, and we have completed other historical restorations. Phillip Carter is active in heritage matters at both local and provincial levels.
